Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using QR2R you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

QR2R provides QR code generation, management, and analytics tools. We offer subscription plans (Solo, Growth, Agency) billed monthly and one-time purchases for individual codes. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free or trial account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use QR2R to:

  • Distribute malware, phishing links, or any illegal content via QR codes.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including those governing spam or consumer protection.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice or refund.

5. Payments & Billing

  • Subscription plans are billed monthly in advance. All prices are in CAD unless otherwise stated.
  • One-time purchases are charged at the time of purchase and grant a single, lifetime QR code.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment details you authorize recurring charges for subscriptions.
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension.

6. Cancellation & Downgrade

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which no new QR codes can be created. Existing codes remain functional and analytics are retained. One-time purchase codes never expire.

7. Intellectual Property

QR2R and its content are owned by QR2R and protected by copyright and other laws. You retain ownership of the content (URLs, logos, designs) you upload. By uploading content you grant QR2R a limited licence to process and display it solely to provide the service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR2R shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
