Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
1. Who We Are
QR2R ("we", "us", or "our") operates the QR2R platform available at qr2r.com. We provide dynamic and static QR code generation, analytics, and management services. For privacy questions, contact us at privacy@qr2r.com.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: your name and email address when you register.
- Payment data: billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never store full card numbers.
- QR scan analytics: when someone scans your QR code we log the approximate location (country/city derived from IP), device type, browser, OS, and timestamp. Raw IP addresses are not stored.
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and feature interactions to improve the product.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and maintain your account and QR codes.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To provide scan analytics on your dashboard.
- To send transactional emails (renewal reminders, team invites).
- To improve and develop new features.
4. Data Retention
Your scan analytics are kept for the lifetime of your account — we never delete historical data while your account is active. QR codes moved to trash are permanently deleted after 30 days. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
5. Third-Party Services
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- IP geolocation — used at scan time to derive country/city. Raw IPs are not persisted.
6. Cookies
We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to data portability. To exercise these rights, email privacy@qr2r.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
QR2R is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on your dashboard. Continued use of QR2R after changes constitutes acceptance.
