Question 1

What is a dynamic QR code?

Accepted Answer

A dynamic QR code points to a redirect server that forwards scanners to your destination URL. This lets you change the destination URL at any time without reprinting the QR code, and enables full scan analytics tracking.

Question 2

What resolution are the QR codes for printing?

Accepted Answer

All QR codes are generated at 1200px PNG — approximately 600 DPI at 2-inch print size. QR2R also exports SVG vector files that scale to any size with zero quality loss, ideal for banners, signs, and large-format printing.

Question 3

Can I generate QR codes in bulk from a CSV?

Accepted Answer

Yes. QR2R's bulk importer accepts a CSV file with name and destination_url columns and generates up to 1,000 QR codes in one batch. Available on Growth and Agency plans.

Question 4

Can I add a logo to my QR code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. QR2R supports custom logo embedding in the center of the QR code. All codes use Level H error correction (30% damage tolerance) to ensure the code still scans reliably with a logo overlay.

Question 5

Can I create a vCard QR code for my business card?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Point your QR code to a vCard URL or contact page, and when scanned it will prompt the scanner to save your contact details automatically. QR2R exports at 1200px PNG and SVG for crisp business card printing.

Question 6

Do you keep my analytics data forever?

Accepted Answer

Yes. QR2R keeps your scan analytics for the lifetime of your account — we never delete historical data. Competitors like Uniqode delete analytics after 30-60 days unless you pay for their top tier.

Question 7

Is there a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No subscription is required. Static QR codes are free, and a single dynamic QR code with scan analytics is a $5 CAD one-time purchase. Monthly plans start at $12 CAD/month (Solo, 10 dynamic QR codes per month) with no contracts.

Question 8

What file formats can I download?

Accepted Answer

You can download your QR code as a high-resolution PNG (1200px), an SVG vector file (infinitely scalable — ideal for banners and large-format printing), or a print-ready PDF.
